Can't you invite multiple contacts (in Messenger) to an instance of
application sharing or whiteboards? I don't see how to start multiple
contacts in either.

NetMeeting has the ability to have multi users in a application
sharing/whiteboard.

I am under the assumption that Messenger utilizes net meeting for
application sharing and whiteboards.

Greetings Tim,

Nope, you need to use Netmeeting directly.

You're right that Messenger uses the same functionality as Netmeeting -- but only Netmeeting
has the ability to use these functions with multiple people.

There had been talk of more development of it years ago, but since Netmeeting (and its
features) were dropped in Vista, that definitely won't be happening.
