Dave, I noticed your tip regarding the multiple icons and wondered if you
might have a similar solution to a similar problem. We occasionally have
multiple icons for the same application in the Windows Vista icon tray. The
main offender is HP monitor, which monitors for media on replaceable drives.
We have searched all our Vista start menus to be sure that there is not a
startup item both for a user and as a public startup item (Windows> Users
AND Windows> Program Data). There don't appear to be duplicate startup
items and we do not use a fingerprint reader. Have you ever heard of this
issue?
