I would like some of my emails to show a business website such as xyzcorp.com as the sent from..

Do I add a duplicate email account and change my name in a particular box but leave all the other settings the same?

A duplicate account using the same servers? Might work. WLM does default to
leaving a copy of a message on the POP3 server. But you would wind up with
every message downloaded twice; once in each account.

WLM does not have the capability of creating multiple "Identities".

That would do it. Remember to deselect Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing, and give the account a different
name (otherwise WLMail will just call it the same as the first with a (1) appended). One problem you'll notice is that in a new
message window, the options you have in the From dropdown are not particularly helpful - all it shows are the addresses you can send
from, not the account name. So you can't distinguish between the old account and the new one. In older versions, this list was
sorted in the same order as accounts in the Accounts list under Tools. In this version, I think the order is that of account folder
names in the store folder. These will have names like 'Xyzcorp (ma xxx' and 'Xyzcorp (ma yyy' where xxx and yyy are randomly
selected, so either might end up first. Once you've found out which is which, just remember their order for when you're using the
From dropdown.

There is no reason why you should not create multiple email
accounts in WLMail. This would usually apply, if you subscribe
to multiple email accounts, or if your mail service provider
provides more than one email address for your primary account.

However, many mail service providers will not process messages
through their servers, unless the email address in the "Sent
from" field corresponds with the sender's registered User Name.
(That is one of the weapons in the battle against spam.) If that
applies to your mail service provider, you will not be able to
send messages from WLMail, if they bear a different address from
your registered address.

Otherwise, there is no reason why you should not create duplicate
email accounts in WLMail. However, you might experience problems
with the receipt of messages (and replies to your emails). For
instance, you might receive duplicates of every incoming email.
Conversely, you might not receive replies to outgoing emails that
quoted the alternative "" address.

To prevent these problems, I suggest that having created the
duplicate account in WLMail, you open Account Properties and edit
the General tab as follows:

1. Uncheck the box labelled "Include this account when
receiving mail or synchronizing". This will prevent WLMail from
downloading each message twice.

2. Insert a valid email address in the "Reply to" field.

Worked like a charm, thanks.
