Decided to get a new printer and trash the Epson, perhaps I made a bad
choice.

Here's some screenshots of 3 different error messages I get no matter
which way I try and get this thing installed it seems impossible.

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling software, uninstalling usb drivers and
reinstalling...It looks like it almost installs but then fails at the
end. Argh!

I can't even add/modify any 'printer' settings without getting an error
message like this:

Uninstalled all drivers/software, rebooted and turned the printer on
just as windows loaded and still FAILED. I don't understand why the
canon software needs windows to locate and install the drivers which it
can't find even though I point to the correct directory on the disc....
I even manually installed them directly from the software disc and still
got all the same errors.

I have the MP620 Blue Edition (don't know what the blue part does) It
installed without a problem on my Vista 64 machine. I just hooked it up
with the USB connection and did not attempt to mess with the wireless
(which I understand some people have had problems with) This is the best
printer I have ever used. Excellent quality in regular print and
especially photos.
