Multiple Session Data CD-RW question.

Hi. My new PC (Gateway GT5432) w/ Vista Home Premium is very frustrating
in several ways, but this tops my list of complaints/questions. My old
(still working) PC uses XP and came with Sonic's Record Now. I got quite
used to adding JPEGs to data discs at will until I filled up the CD-RW's
capacity on my XP machine using Record Now. Attempts at similar tasks
with my Vista PC have proven impossible. Trying to add single pix onto
existing partially filled picture discs resulted in wiping the original
contents (a huge inconvenience and annoyance) an replacing with one
picture using up the entire disc. My question is this. Is there a way to
add a few jpegs at a time to a data only RW disc w/o filling up its
capacity? Is this a desired feature of this new OS? Am I missing
something simple? I cannot add Record Now from my XP machine to the
Vista. It won't operate or open. Windows XP could add single or even
multple picture files to an existing data disc many times until disc
capacity was filled up with Windows or Micsosoft programs (not by using
Record Now). Why is this once simple operation so difficult or
impossible with Vista?

I've heard it is possible to add XP OS on the same machine as Vista. Is
this true of a new PC that CAME WITH Vista? I can not stop using my XP
PC until I figure out the picture adding to data disc problems I'm
having with the Vista PC. I do not trust Vista with anything but music
CDs, since those require an 'all at once' recording method anyway. My
old XP machine had its quirks, but Vista is so difficult to warm up to,
I find myself using XP PC as often as possible. Is there any plan to
make an XP compatable version of Vista available or as an optional
service pack or patch? Sorry for all the qweries in one post, but I need
to vent somewhere.
