Multiple updates and installs of the same security updates

Hi Everyone,

Today Windows express updates auto downloaded , and installed Security
Update for Windows XP (KB951376) on my WinXPProSP3 computer . The number
sounded familiar , so I checked my update list , and it shows the same update
was successfully installed on 6-11-08 . My control panel lists it as KB951376
-v2 . And also shows a KB951376 . "Help and Support" also shows two installs
of KB951376 .
"Help and Support" shows no installs of a KB915800-v4 ( four installs ?) ,
but my control panel shows a single KB915800-v4 .
Why would Windows update send me 2- of the same update ? Could that be
harmful ? And why is there a difference in the update list between my control
panel and my Help and Support list ?
I will appreciate feedback !

IN RE KB915800: It was effectively "hidden" when you installed SP3.
