Multiple users synch'ing to PC - limit to number of users per PC??

Our healthcare system is utilizing iPaqs for use by the physicians for
clinical application work - using ePocrates, AllScripts, etc. The physicians
also keep their calendars and contacts (sometimes email) on the devices as
well.

Our shared PC's (not assigned to just one person) are either an autoboot
machine with a shared account, or the provider will sign on with his/her own
credentials. This sometimes causes headaches when John is the signed on user
to the PC, and Diane comes along to sync the device. Just won't work, and
fouls up the partnership, of course. We think we finally have the docs
trained to check first, but that's not the only problem we're encountering.

Several errors are coming up as well (I'm trying to get the Level I tech to
get me the error codes/messages), but I'm really wondering if there is a
limit as to how many different providers can sync to one PC? Does anyone
know of a limit on this, or it shouldn't matter?

I would believe that there is no limit on the number of PPC's that can
synchronize to a computer since each device will have a unique partnership.
Additionally you mention that each physician has his/her own computer
profile that they need to sign into before connecting the device so it
really shouldn't matter.

It would be helpful if you could provide the operating system that the iPAQs
use. Since there is a slight difference in the manner in which WM 5.0 and
higher devices synchronize with Microsoft Outlook since it also stores the
Outlook profile information and doesn't sync if another Outlook profile is
open when the device is connected.

It would be best if you provide the error messages to see if any of us here
can help with those. And how many devices are we talking about here?
