Music link in Right Pane of Start Menu

Link to 'Music' has become hosed on Start Menu. Its Property window does not
display tabs; nor does it link to the User/Music folder. How can one repair
this link?

If this is not the most appropriate group for answer, should I post this to
a different group, e.g. microsoft.public.windows.vista.general?

Create a desktop shortcut and drag it to the Start button.

Launch the Registry Editor (regedit.exe)

Navigate to:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders]

In the right-hand pane, edit the path for 'My Music' to correspond to the
location of your Music folder

I had same problem and Keith's registry edit sorted it out perfectl
(just needed to log out and back in again after using regedit to appl
the change)
