I've edited a piece of music from a CD and would like to program it to play
on Vista start-up. Is this possible? Any advice (sage or straight forward)
would be
much appreciated. Thanks, JR Brand.

If it's a wav file you can assign it as the start-up sound.
See this link for more info. It apllies to Vista as well as XP.

I'm using an XP system right now, but Vista will do this pretty much
the same way: Control Panel|Sounds and Audio Devices, Sounds tab.
Select "Start Windows" from the list and assign whatever sound you
want.

Select start, type in sound, select the speaker icon, select sounds tab.
If your song is not in a wave format it will have to be converted to one.

Have fun :-)
