MusicMix?

I have heard that there is an activity for Windows Live Messenger called
MusicMix that is supposed to let you play music in Windows Media Player and
have a friend be able to hear it on their computer while you are connected
via Messenger. However, I have never seen this option on the Activities menu.
Is there something you have to do to install this?

Around December, Music Mix got broken on Microsoft's side and a month later disappeared from
the service. I do not know if it will (ever) be back.

Also, if you went looking for it before, it's not an option in all the locales, so that would
be why you didn't see it. To answer your question though, there was nothing to install to
make it appear.
