everytime i try to download and install my automatic updates it always says
failed with error #0x80070643. If I go to the windows update site to
download them it says that I must be logged on to an administrators account,
but i already am. I can't download ANYTHING without a box coming up saying
that I don't have permission to download. I have tried everything I know to
try and nothing works. How can I fix this? Please help!

To install items from Windows Update, you must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure. CaptainJack Windows Update 2 04-15-2004 01:11 PM
