MVP: Is this possible?

When Microsoft announces the problem and the fix, is it possible to post a
notice on this newsgroup and make it stick at the top of the list for
several days? I'm sure Microsoft is the only entity who will have an
official announcement. With an MVP Note here to post where the official fix
can be found would be of great help to all.

This is a newsgroup and although it may be synchronized with forums - there
is no 'sticky'.

Where is the best place to keep checking Microsoft for solution to the
fixes?

It's technically possible if the sender temporarily resets their system date
a few days ahead so the file will appear at the top of a date-sorted list
until that date passes. This is not an endorsement of the technique, just
something I have seen done and an answer to your question.

If and when a "fix" is found for the recent ".NET Framework" problems, one
of us will post an ANNouncement in this newsgroup.

And that is a bad solution which is why it should not be done and when
it is done many complain while others ignore.
