I think the MVP's are very helpful to most of us and I appreciate their
efforts.

It is up to the individual MVP whether they want to make their profile
public. There is no rule stating that they "must" do so.

Hi John,

I agree entirely with you in that MVPs are helpful and knowledgeable. In
order to become an MVP they have had to prove their worth, both in their
knowledge of the subject and the quality of their answers and explanations.
This is something which is not easy to do.

First and foremost the typical MVP foolishly thinks he needs to
demonstrate he is some Microsoft loyalist. Big brother IS watching you
know. If you couldn't see that reading their replies on your own, then
saying anything more about it would be pointless.

That isn't to say a few MVPs don't buck the trend and try at least at
times to paddle upstream and be more objective and factual, but the
typical fanboy and MVP that posts to this newsgroup has his head so
far up Microsoft's butt they haven't seen daylight in years.

Accordingly EVERYTHING the typical MVP says is colored towards
supporting Microsoft, no matter what. I keep asking them why, they
never answer. I wonder why. Not really. They're afraid all the
freebies they get will stop coming. That explains why MVPs say what
they do.

Why the fanboy crowd are Microsoft apologists is a mystery. Using
Frank as an example since he's the king of fanboys I would guess
fanboys are just naturally stupid and don't know any better. Frank
certainly has proved he's one of the dumbest posters in all of Usenet.
That's for sure.

To whom? From what I've seen around here, most of the MVPs are neither
helpful and certainly NOT knowledgeable. Maybe to Wintards like you, they
appear knowledgeable. But believe me, they know squat about computers. All
they know is how to clickty-click their way around Windoze.

Cheers.

Obviously there is no rule that they need to know what they're talking about
either. Seems the only rule is that they must be MickeyMouse fanboys.

Cheers.

I would say that MVP's who are regulars in here are nothing but vista
fanboys.
