My account won't sign into WLM!

hi all,

anybody made this work, i'm unable to login to Live Messenger "desktop" or
even Web Live Messenger.

i've tryied all hosts options, registry changes, i don't have zonealarm or
anything like that, also closed the Windows firewall and all...

any help would be appreciated

I'm also experiencing the same problem. It works when I sign into Windows
Messenger, or www.meebo.com, but not Windows Live Messenger.

It all started when I rebooted my machine...

i have excact the same problem and get get around it

Yes, I am the exact same thing happen to me. I don't have ZoneAlarm, either.
Just went to to a normal reboot, came back and hey presto - WLM just sits
there, spinning the two little green men until such a time as it decides to
give up, with not so much as an error message.
Windows Mess is fine, Web Mess is fine. Just WLM.

Oh - and I too tried using the registry fix of deleting the "profile" key and
it's contents.... but to no avail.
Even reinstalling the ting doesn't seem tow ant to budge.

I've backdated to 7.5 until such a time as they fix the problem.

I'm having exactly the same problem too...

I guess we'll just have to live with 7.5 for a few days then >o<

Same problem here. Tried all the fixes, none work. Microsoft, please fix.
