my aero vista theme is not working suddenly

my vista aero theme doesn't seem to be working suddenly. the title bar was
formerly black. now the title bar is blue and the minimise,maximise and close
buttons are changed into individual boxes instead of normally 3 in 1. I
cannot find the windows flip 3d function as well. i have tried reseting to
the wondows vista theme but nothing has changed. Please advise.

hi,
when you say you have reset the vista theme do you mean you ran these two
commands from the run box?
net stop uxsms
net start uxsms

if you havent run these two commands, then you might try it. just open the
run box from the start menu and then type in the first one and press enter,
then do it again using the second one.
