My automatic update will not run

I have tried manually changing it in several windows. I have used the method
that the automatic upate site suggested. Please help if there are any other
ideas! I read another posting where the person wanted to see the most recent
threads, so here they are. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to help me!

Hello Dandilly,

Any luck with this:

If you receive Windows Update error 80070422 while downloading updates, you
might need to change the Windows Update service settings, and then restart
the service.
