My computer abnormally suspended when strating to install XP SP2.

Today, i tried to install sp2 of network version in my Profressional XP, but
no matter how i tried, the installation progress alway standed on the dialog
with checking the computer setting now and progress bar didn't move any more
even if you put it for aound 2~3hours. You only can see it suspended and cost
all the resource of CPU (CPU Utiliztion is 100%), my computer had already
updated to SP1 and also updated the latest HOSFIX in the past, would somebody
tell me how to deal with this? thank you very much. (before i installed i
have used Norton ANTI-Virus with latest virus update to scan and doesn't find
out any threat in my computer)
