I have been using My Computer to view and copy photos from My digital
camera to the folder where I want to work on them. My camera appears as
a drive in My Computer. I was able to open the drive and view the contents.
Now following the recent Windows updates over the past week, I can still
see the camera icon in My Computer but when I try to open it to copy the
photos, etc. the window that is opened does not show the photos and the
window freezes, followed by a "Report this error" message. When I do
report the message a following "Report this error" message appears
wanting to report a DRWATSON error. I can report that message but then
I cannot clear the frozen window until I go to the Task Manager and end
the DrWatson process. After this I notice that several icons are
missing from the tray and I have to reboot to get them back.
I can still go into Photoshop and retrieve the photos one at a time but
when I was able to use My Computer I was able to copy multiple photos
from the camera at one time. Is anyone else having this problem? Any
thoughts as to which update may be causint the problem? Cures?
