my computer freezes!!!!

everytime i t logg on and 4 lik 5min after i logg on it freezes and then goes
bac to normal and the same thing keeps happening. i hav the new model
computer and i just upgraded to windows vista ( i checked 4 compatability and
my system if compatable wit vista) i started happening after i upgraded to
windows vista and im wondering if thats the problem. i dont hav to restart my
computer or anything it just freezes and then unfreezes and it does that lik
every 10 minutes but it stops after a while but stil happens, its just that
it doesn't happen every 10 minutes after a while. i think i may hav made that
sound confusing. my computer has an intel duo core proccessor. the freezing
started happening the same day windows vista was installed. it just happened
again!!! when im writing my mouse doesn't move nothin won't work its lik it
comes at a 'stand still' or something pllllzzzz help me the constant freezing
is getting annoying

I'm having the same problem but I have been using vista for a while now without any problems. My details :- Windows Vista Home premium
Intel(R)Celeron(R)\cpu 540@1.86ghZ

Run task manager/performance. Reduce it to a part of your screen. When the
problem happens, is either of your cores maxed out (100%). If so, you need
a faster processor.
