"My Computer" gone ?

The My Computer option is missing. Icon is gone, gone from the control panel,
do a search and it can't be found. My wife did something, not sure what. Also
won't download w.updates. Dell Dimens.4550, XP HomeEd.

Have you tried a System Restore to just before it went missing ?

What do you mean when you say it wont download updates, any particular ones
or just updates in general ? What happens when you try, any error messages
or what ?
