Hi Clorey,
I do not use Windows Live Mail. I use Outlook Express.
I do not know if you use Remote Assistance. If you accept Remote
Assistance Help or you help others, but if you use Remote Assistance, the
latest Windows Messenger must be installed.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
The version number is 5.1.
When you installed all the programs, did you also reinstall all the
Windows Hotfixes and Optional Software Programs, when you click Custom,
instead of Express?
What version of Windows Live Messenger is installed? Ex. Version 2008
(8.5.1302.1018)
Oh, every time you Compose a message to a person, that person is added
as a contact in Windows Live Mail, in order to make writing to that person,
a little easier the next time.
In Outlook Express, you click on Tools then Options and click on the
Send Tab, to see what I mean. See if Windows Live Mail, is set up the same
way.
The contacts between Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Mail, are
shared.
