I am running MS Outlook on Vista, and when I insert a gif in an email
the gif does not move. In limited testing, it does not move for me a
the originator nor if I send it to myself, as the recipient. However
one third party recipient reports it does move. My gifs all moved in X
and all gifs that I am using in Vista I know for certain are animated

Does anyone know the answer

The GIFs probably need more fiber in their diet.

I don't have an answer for you (and I can't imagine why you think sending
animated .gifs in an email is A Good Thing), but the Outlook experts will
probably know. Post in the Outlook newsgroup and make sure to tell them
what version of Outlook you're running.

microsoft.public.outlook.general

Malke - (can't see the original post) if it's 2007, then it doesn't do

Thanks, Peter. Frankly, I try to ignore Outlook as much as possible so I
know how to install it for clients and how to back it up, but that's about
it. ;-)
