My interactive gadgets don't interact, why?

When I try to interact with the Live Search and weather bug gadget, such as
clicking on the extended forcast or enlarge, a dialouge box pops up and says,
"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel" What
does this mean and how do you do it? Thanx for any help you can offer.

Click on "Help and Support" and type in "set associations". You will be
given the answers to all your questions.

I tried that but could not get things to work with the gadgets.
