About every minute or so I get a little bubble in the corner of my screen
that says internet disconnected, if I wait another 30 seconds or so it says
internet connected. I don't know what's going on. I've deleted all my
cookies, I've ran every diagnostic my computer has and it tells me everything
is fine. My linksys wireless router it saying that everything is fine too.
I am a a wall, I know alot about how to run a computer but nothing about
fixing one or the inerds of everything so I would appreciate some help please
if anyone has any suggestions!

I see the same thing, and needed to set the Ethernet card to 10 mbps half
duplex, and wait till the system got used to the connection.

devmgmt.msc
properties of net card.

Vista seems to 'learn' how to use it over time.

Do you own the wireless router, or are you connecting to a neighbor's
router?

My ISP told me to set my router to Channel 11, instead of Auto Channel
Select. This solved the problem for me.

If you are a broadband deadbeat -- piggy back on the nieghbor's router --
there is almost nothing you can do. My wireless adaptors connected with a
weak signal, so I went out and bought 802.11n wireless adaptors. Now, both
machines that formerly connected with a weak signal both connect with an
excellent signal.
