My laptop does not go sleep

Hello,

I use LG R405 (Laptop) + Vista Home Basic.
I used my laptop for my full satifactory up to yesterday. My laptop was
configured to go to sleep mode when lid is closed. All of a sudden, this
feature was gone (I am not sure but I believe that few days ago there was a
massive system update).
I looked at the power management options and the Hibernation feature is
still exists and actives and the lid is still set for sleeping mode.
I checked "POWERCFG -Devicequery Wake_Armed" and it shows only "Standard
PS/2 Keyboard". I disabled the Network adapter waking up option as well.

Any ideas what went wrong ?

After restoring to defaults (in Control Panel > Power management) is seems
that the problem was fixed BUT when I close the lid and re-open it I am
prompted with Switch User TAB. Can this little problem resolved somehow?
