My Microsoft Management Console's "dead"

1. I'm having problems \"Connecting to Task Scheduler\" when I click o
it either through Computer Management or just from Start --
Administrative Tools

2. When I try to access Event Viewer, I get a screen pop that say
\"MMC has stopped working\"

All other areas/features/functions inside Computer Managment work jus
fine

I tried re-naming_&_resetting wbem\Repository

It seemed to work, but FWIW there is now a \"Repository001\" folde
inside wbem that i don't think was there before
