my.msn.com default opening page

My default "my. msn.com" site won't open. And the Protection Mode is "Off"
only on this site. All other sites are protected and work fine. This just
happened.....after I filled out a registration for Quicken. Until now all
has worked OK for two months. I have a "new" Windows Vista Home Premium
and a Compaq desktop, and a DSL connection. By the way, I've used the
"my.msn.com" as my default for many years with XP and had no trouble till
now. Thanks for any help you can give me. bobg

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE without Add-ons

Will this open the page? If so then your IE has an add-in causing the
problem.
Run Defender and look for BHO (Browser Helper Objects) and in regular
IE - Tools - Manage Add-ons (some may be hidden from this so use
Defender too),
