My Music

I want to go through about 600 songs to rename the Song name and Artist name
and delete the rest like Track number and Album name, is there a easier way
than right clicking on properties and editing each song?

ok, here, ill break it down simple, all that info that tells a music player
what song its playing, it uses IDv3 < a simple hunk of code tagged on to the
very end of the song data... MOST people want more info in that, not less...
but im not here to judge, im here to help... heres a good Open Source IDv3

I know it's better to have more info, but I want to upload all my songs to
my ipod and just have only the song and artist names I try to edit it
through iTunes which seems to do most of it but still holds the rest of the
information, I know this is not the correct group for what I am doing but
the heart of my problem is starting from my mp3's in the music folder
