Posts I make in this newsgroup are not showing up on my computer.
I think I had this problem once before, but can't remember the fix.

If I go to "microsoft.windows.public.vista.general" in Internet Explorer my posts are shown there.

Please tell me how to fix this problem. I can find any replies with I.E. as above.

Thanks!

There is no need to leave the MS newsgroups for a forum as suggested by Mr.
Frisch. As it stands now, the MS forums are fairly unusable and few regular
helpers will use them to offer support.

It sounds like you have got Windows Mail set to not show all your posts
because I see your posts with no problem. Review how to use Windows Mail
with msnews.microsoft.public.* newsgroups here:

http://vistasupport.mvps.org/accessi...ndows_mail.htm

If you need more help, please post in the Windows Mail newsgroup where you
will find the Windows Mail experts:

microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail

Besides, if Carey's there, that's reason enough NOT to go there.

Well! I found if I put my user name at top right in "search", it shows all my posts, even back to 2 years or so ago.

You must not have Windows Mail set to show all your threads, or perhaps you
have it set to only show new posts. You'll need to look at the newsreader
settings. I haven't ever used Windows Mail for newsgroups so I can't
suggest anything beyond what I already did - look at the link for using
Windows Mail with newsgroups, post in the Windows Mail newsgroup or you
might even want to try a different email/news client. Thunderbird is very
good and IMO much better than Windows Mail.

Someone suggested I uncheck "Get xxx headers at a time", I did this and now see my posts! I don't see what that has to do with seeing my posts, but it worked.
Thanks to all for replies.
