My screen is white on every page/ no background color

I recently was just messing with everything on my comp and I have no idea
what I did to it. I now no longer see any background color on evry scrren and
website I go to. I can see the links only because the word is there. Can
someone help me fix this please.

Depends upon where you were *messing* in Internet Explorer. Please post to
the relevant Newsgroup and provide a bit of information about what you were
doing which led up to the disaster. It may help them give you the proper
assistance to undo the damage.
