Dear Sir/Maam
I just reformatted my computer and i have Windows 2000 Proffesional on it.
When i try to play music... it says:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with
your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your
computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning
properly."
I have spent days trying to look for the ideal driver for my sound card but
i do not know how to find it - as i am not sure of my sound card's brand. I
will greatly appreciate it, if you could take some time to write back and
help me through this.
Thankyou.

Either Everest Home
http://www.lavalys.com/products.php?lang=en
or Beleric
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
may help you determine your sound card.
Also your PC manu.site, or the installation cd's supplied with your sys.
