If the sound card was the only item with issues and that was drivers,
as far as the Upgrade Advisor goes, you should be OK.
But if you want to be sure, the Upgrade Advisor should run in Windows
Vista.
However there is more to hardware than sound and video cards.
You may need a BIOS update for your motherboard.
Check on your network card if separate, also check on any other
hardware connected to the computer.
In all those cases, you need to check with the specific hardware
manufacturer.
