My Vista x64 detected as Windows 95

I tried to install flash and java onto my vista x64 ultimate and was
prompted that both flash and java sites detected my os as Windows 95
instead of vista.

Is this a bug or some wierld stuffs happening on my computer?

Any advice appreciated.

Vista x64 has 32 and 64 bit versions of Internet Explorer. Make
sure you are running the 32 bit IE. There are no 64 bit versions
of Flash and Java, so they will not recognize 64 bit IE.

The 32 bit IE is in Program Files (x86).
