name of newsgroup in bold red

Hello

I don't now why the name of this newsgroup in the left hand column appears
in bold red whilst oters I've selected appear in bold black. I do not have
any watched threads. How can I fix this ?

Did you post to the newsgroup? I think your own posts will show in red, mine
do. If so, scroll down til you find a post which should also be in red and
once read will return to black.

You have an UNREAD message marked with the Eyeglasses..... find
the red ones and click in Eyeglass column until its EMPTY.

Hi,

Curious. Have you downloaded all messages for this group as opposed to the
others? I usually uncheck the limiter under tools/options. I'm thinking
maybe that the other groups you subscribed to are less populated with
messages than this one, so the red is a warning that this particular group
still has messages to download.

Try marking some messages Watched and the clear them.

Tools > Options > Read tab > under Reading Messages I changed the colour of
Highlight watched messages from Red to Black. It worked and now I've the
name of this newsgroup in the left hand column in bold black like the
others. None of the messages are marked with eyeglasses.

Pleasae let me know if this not the right way to do it. Thank you.

Use Maintenance to Clear Old Messages and then set it back to RED
if you need to be able to mark Watched Messages.
