Hi there, although Navision 3.7 is not compatible with vista, late
versions are and you can do a "technical upgrade" which is as simple a
opening your Navision database with a later version of the executables
You will need to be on 4.0 SP3 with an Update 6 + Update 7 applied as
minimum or 5.0 or 5.0 SP1. All of these versions are Vista compatibl
and I have been running them on my machine quite happily.
To get these later versions, you need to talk to your reseller and i
you have been paying your Maintenance, you will be entitled to the ne
executables already and simply need to request a new license file. Yo
will probably need to get your reseller to guide you through thi
process and you will want to do a test upgrade first just to make sur
if anything goes wrong you have not just trashed your live database.
If you want to know more about NAV (Navision) and Vista, you can tr
searching in one of the many NAV forums such as 'Welcome to mibuso.com
