Hello, Everyone.

I wanted to ask you, whether there is a function that could be called from NDIS protocol driver to check

adapter's ability to:

a) access both local network and the Internet,
b) or the wire unplugged?

Normally, the NIC's icon in the system tray shows such information. But is it accomplished by sending some polling packets, or just by a provided NDIS function?

The problem is that sending functions such as NdisSendNetBufferLists(...) do not return any value, thus, I cannot use them to check adapter's possible failure.

Thank you for any help!
