Need Administrator Permission Problem

I have tried before to set up automatic updates, but it wouldn't let me. I
was okay with that since I could still check manually. But now I can't
install those updates. I was the only account on the computer, and have
administative abilities.

I tried to create another administrator account, but it would not let it
install either.

Can someone please help me out. Greatly appriciate it.
