Have you checked to ensure that it is Vista compatible? Why should anybody
accept it from an unknown source like you, when it is readily available from
other unknown sources on the internet?

thanks man i know you prob meant well, but like he said most of us would
prob feel better getting it ourself, because of the high risk is possible
virus or trojan horse, and at least if somethings happen then then it the
site owner's responsibility to fix the problem. but i'll tell ya what if you
want you can post the url of the place you got it from.

WinFax lite does not work well under Vista. You cannot fax from within a
document using it. There are two on the market now that work very well.
Both allow faxing from within documents, scanning to the fax and a few other
goodies. SnappyFax is $29.95 and RKS fax is $19.95 (which is the one I am
using). Both allow a 30 day free trial - check them out.

i'm using rksfax also it's great, also using "vista caller-id" but that's
another subject

i am only using for Rcv. working fine. haven't tested for send.


got it with a modem years ago, and archived the setup floppy as a zip.

sorry 4 offering. anyone wants it, offer still stands. if u r woried
about virus or whatever, then update your protective SW before
installing anything.
