Hi All,

I'm dual booting with Vista and Linux on a laptop with Vista
pre-installed. When I installed Linux I over wrote Vista's boot loader.
Since I don't have a install DVD, how do I fix Vista's boot loader.

Your only hope is to use your computer manufacturer's
recommended recovery method for Windows Vista.
Installing a third-party operating system on a computer
manufacturer's custom OEM Windows Vista installation is
not recommended.

I am not aware of today's distros, but Mandrake 9.2 had an option to restore
the Windows MBR when the Linux setup ran from the CD. I don't remember the
path to that option, but it was very short and in fact I've used it once.
You might want to check this out. Good luck !
