Need Help With Aero. PLZ Help!!!

I installed a fresh copy of Vista Ultimate and when i go to the color schemes
aero does not show up what could cause this plz help..

You need 64MBs minimum, recomm. 128MBs of graphics for aero to work properly.
Also, your graphics card requires an LDDM(longhorn display driver model) and
support for directX9 API

in addition, since you reinstalled, be sure that you have successfully
activated vista. Areo will not become and option unless vista is
activated, regardless of your graphics ability.

One other thing you might try is to check your Windows Experience Index. It
has to be above a certain value (I do not remember the value now) to be able
to run Aero. Whenever I install new video drivers for my card I have to
refresh the Windows Experience Index. During the installation of Vista, the
WEI is determined. In my case when I installed Ultimate, the video rating
were 1.0 with the default drivers. After installing Ultimate, the very next
step was to install the latest video drivers. When I looked at the WEI, it
was showing 1.0/1.0 and "Unrated". I "refreshed" the WEI and now had 5.9/5.5
for the two video ratings and now had Aero capabilities

That's not true. I did my Vista install a while ago and only recently
activated it (used the "rearm" method to postpone activation for a
bit).
Aero worked fine all the time, also when Vista was not yet activated.
