Need help - cannot access my computer

I have a password on my windows vista laptop and recently reset this. When I
turned my laptop back on the following morning I had forgot my password and
could not access my laptop. I need some help please despite how stupid my
problem is.

Press ctrl-alt-delete twice at the welcome screen, and sign in as
"Administrator" with a blank password. User Accounts will let you change
your other user password. (You lose any encrypted files)
