Disable any unnecessary add ons that might bogging down the browser (Tools >
Manage Add-ons), change your default home page or set it as a blank web
page. If none of those work, try Firefox.

I disagree about turning off the phishing filter. I've used it, and still am,
in IE7 in XP and Vista with no probs. And it works!!!!

And for all the complaints about IE7, IE7 works faster for me in Vista than
it does in XP.

XP Comp: 2.4 CPU, 512 RAM
Vista home Premium: 2.0 CPU, 1024 RAM
