I am not able to send this e-mail to a specific account / address. The e-mail I am trying to send is very important to me; it is a follow-up "letter" e-mail regarding a recent job interview.
I have tried numerous times and keep getting the same error message. I have done the following: checked e-mail address - it is correct; I checked my e-mail settings and account settings - they appear to be correct, I can sent e-mails to other addresses; I tried sending the e-mail with the "My server requires authentication" under "Outgoing Mail Server" both checked and unchecked. I continue to get the same message.
In this forum I am not permitted to include the e-mail address.
The error message is:
"The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.
