I did do all of the "do's" at your first URL, but... oopppsss...
 Lookslike I did #2 on the "don'ts" list (reply to your own topic). sorry! On your 2nd URL, I did do all of that except for putting my HJT log in my post instead of attatching it to it. Sorry. Didn't know. Seemed like the logical thing to do since the file attachment feature was there. And on your 3ird URL, I don't have one installed. I have just got done reformatting my HDD and installing Vista and it's SP1 update (from a file, not online or through vista's built-in windows update). I'll post my HJT log to that forum, but I don't think it's going to help get down to the source of my problem; there wasn't any suspicious entries in it. Do NOT begin a new thread! If you can Edit your first post, remove the
attachment and copy/paste the log into the post. Otherwise, post the log in another reply and state why you didn't do so right off the bat.
