Need Help - Window Installer

I have Window Vista. I have a window installer that kept showing up on my
husband's side and I'm the administrator. I hope I can explain this right.
I have a software that doesn't show up on my side of the computer but it
does on my husband's. How do I go about fixing it? Please be patience
since I'm having a difficult time explaining.
