I need help with Window Updates

I already sent a message about this and they told me to download this

So it allows Microsoft to run a tool to collect information about drivers,
services, and other system-related information on my computer. I tried to
download it but this is what it said:

The Data Collection site supports only Internet Explorer 5.1 and later
versions on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and later
operating systems. Please download Internet Explorer 6 and then continue
with this process.

When i downloaded that this, other thing happened it said:

The windows update: Internet Explorer and Internet Tools cannot be installed
on this computer.This product does not install on 64-bit platforms.

So what can i do if i cant run the program so they can help me.I need help

My computer is a Window Vista 64-bit
There are 2-3 computers in the same network by using wireless.

While it's the best idea to talk back directly to the MS support engineer
which advised you to download/use that tool, you may have more luck with this
tool (mpsreports_x64.exe)

After you download and then run the System Update Readiness Tool, restart
your computer. Then, immediately try to install the updates.

Is Vista (64-bit) SP1 or SP2 installed?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on the
computer (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought
it)?
