I have been having alot of trouble of alot of my workstations with the
windows update service not starting. I get the following error:

Error 0x80004015: The class is configured to run as a security id different
from the caller

To fix it i have been running this command on the local computers:
SC sdset wuauserv
DA;;CCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRRC;;;SY)(A;;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLO CRSDRCWDWO;;;BA)(A;;CCLCSWLOCRRC;;;AU)(A;;CCLCSWRP WPDTLOCRRC;;;PU)

Which seems to fix the problem but once the computer has been restarted the
service doesnt start up again and i need to run the above command.

Aside from putting that command into everyone's logon script does anyone
know of a permanent fix for this?

thanks

Check -
I1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK
2. Double-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service.
3. Click the Log On tab.
4. Click Local System account, and then click OK.
5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Start.
