I have been through this same issue so many times, and I really need someone
to help me out please. The .Net Framework issues. This time I have to be
honest I do not even know where it began. There are some issues that remain
regardless of either clean-up tool being used, the Rename.Bat, or even
crawling through the registry trying to track them down. At the moment I have
no framework on the system at all. The isuses are: Microsoft .NET Framework
3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update for .NET versions 2.0
through 3.5 (KB951847) x86- , -Security Update for Flash Player (KB923789)- ,
-Update to .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 for the .NET Framework Assistant
1.0 x86 (KB963707)- , and -Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2
Security Update for Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP
(KB974417)-. My questions are how do fix it? Is it correct that I can skip
..Net Framework 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and just start with 3.5? Either or what order
must the definitions be installed. And last I have some experience with XP,
this problem, and I was wondering. I have alway felt some-what like a error
during an update or one that causes the update process to freeze generally
means it is over and you need to format and start over. Please tell me I am
wrong. How do you reset the update process and flush updates that will not
install, delete, go away, or show any mercy for crying out loud. Thank you
very much for listening to my problems.
