Need STDRET.msi

I tried to download service pack 3 (including the full version from
recommended webiste) but cannot (it continually asks me to install this.) It
asks for the "Microsoft Office XP Standard" disk searching for file
STDRET.msi. When I insert my office xp disk (says "service pack 1" on it) or
any other disk in my possession, it does not work. Is there some way to
solve this problem other than ordering a replacement cd of apparently the
correct cd?
