Well, I have a built-in webcam and I have the Logitech Pro 5000 model.
The software that came with the laptop is called YouCam. It's 'OK', but
when I'm on Skype, YouCam pops up over my screen. I move it to the side,
but it just moves back over the screen. I shut it down, but it starts up
again. I like YouCam's features, but not its' obtrusiveness. So, I'm
looking for software that behaves decently. The Logitech Pro 5000 works
OK - but it doesn't have 'features' like YouCam. Yes, I have tried to
contact YouCam through their forum - but haven't received a response
(YouCam came with my laptop). The other thing is: a lot of controls are
'greyed out' on ANY of the software I use. I'd like to know why. I like
to have full control of all the webcam's controls (white balance,
brightness, gain, etc.). BTW, have a good day...........
